Dr. A.P.J. Abdulkalam People welfare association was established in 2016 with the mission to sensitize the people to the importance of education and to produce “One graduate per home in the settlement. Considering the limitations of a welfare association in serving the people, we have registered the Muthal Thalaimurai Trust in 2021.

Our foundation was established by a visionary Tamil film assistant director E.Marisamy. both driven by a shared commitment to societal welfare and sustainable living. With a background in cinema, he recognized the power of education and its ability to transform lives. Hailing from a humble background, he understands the significance of education and aims to empower every household through it. Marisamy and the residents of Kannaginagar, united their strengths to create a platform that champions education, community empowerment, and environmental consciousness. Their journey began with the noble goal of ensuring quality education for children and has evolved into a multifaceted initiative that envisions a brighter, more equitable future for all.
